Arthur Ortiz is a transmasculine, queer and neurodivergent artist from Puerto Rico. He enjoys writing zines about love, disability, horror and music. He is also an embroidery artist and illustrator.
He works as an Assistant Librarian in the Arts and Music Collection in the University of Puerto Rico Río Piedras campus where they offer free zine workshops. In this Collection, he hosts a micro library project called El maletín cuir (The queer suitcase) that showcases books, graphic novels and zines with queer themes or creators. He is also currently studying a master’s degree in Comparative Literature in that same university.
