Reid , known more publicly as Reid Zines and the creator of GENDERBENDER Zine & heaven 4 boygirls publications, is a queer + trans mixed media artist from the Midwest. They have been making zines about genderqueerness since 2021, only a few months after they came out as trans. In these 5 years, Reid put both anthology-style projects featuring art submissions from around the world as well as more personal autobiographical works. Reid recently graduated with a degree in Publishing Studies, which was fueled by their longtime passion for zinemaking. Reid is driven to create zines about authentic queer experiences both as an act of self-compassion and a wish to let other queer people know they are not alone in this world.
