R. D. “Reyookah” Yoon is a 19 year old Yale student and Korean-American transgender artist who makes comics about the social outcasts and emotionally battered dregs of society, especially the queer ones. His fandom proclivities combined with his neurotic fixation on the sociology of internet culture have given him a simultaneous fascination with fiction being treated as an extension of a better reality—something that socially isolated queers such as himself are familiar with—and a deep distrust of the entire concept. He likes channeling this distrust through art.
