Starkittyzines is Axl’s zine project. She creates zines often rooted in personal experience and anecdotes, on topics like mental health, queerness and lesbianism, challenges faced in life or frustrations to vent about. Most of her zines are in English, but some are also in French, or have versions in both languages.
While drawing, handwriting and collage are her favorite ways to create a zine, she also makes them digitally, and is always exploring new techniques like lino-printing to diversify her zines.
